BespokeTreehouse with a three platform play area
This project includes a treehouse on a raised platform and three additional raised platforms with a variety of access points to ensure that plenty of different circuits can be made around this fantastic play area.
The treehouse sits to the left and rear of a platform 2ft (0.6m) above the ground, is accessed via a staircase to the front and includes a standard door with diamond shape cut out and flanked by rectangular windows. It has a cedar shingle roof which is mirrored in the roof of the open shelter on the fourth platform.
A walkway to the front and right of first platform leads to a staircase to the second platform. This platform is 4ft (1.2m) square and sits 4ft (1.2m) above the ground. A rope ladder is attached to the left hand corner of this second platform and provides the first of the alternative access points.
A second walkway, 5ft (1.5m) in length leads to the third platform. This platform is also 4ft (1.2m) square and accommodates a scramble net to the front and a climbing wall to the right providing different access points and allowing children to choose to make different routes around their play space and providing a variety of different challenges.
This platform steps up to another walkway, again 5ft (1.5m) in length and now set at 5ft (1.5m) high. This platform leads to the fourth and final platform with the open shelter with a fireman's pole to the ground.
A 4ft (1.2m) hanging swing seat is positioned underneath the walkway between the second and third platforms and provides a lovely shady spot when active play becomes too much.
The staircase and all raised areas are protected with balustrade rails.
