Adventure Tree house with Climbing wall
Designed and built for three young boys, this adventure treehouse provides a wonderful setting for accumulating a wealth of happy childhood memories.
Leaving the mature trees in place but transforming an overgrown and neglected area, this wonderful treehouse with adjoining platforms creates a secret adventure playground at the bottom of this garden.
The treehouse sits on the first of three platforms and is accessed via a staircase. This platform is 4ft (1.2m) from the ground and built in an L shape with the treehouse sitting to the rear, leaving external platform space to the left hand side and front of the treehouse
The treehouse has a stable door with cut out to the front and is flanked by windows. There are two more windows in the left hand wall of the treehouse, one at the rear and one in the right hand wall. Three of the windows, those to the front and rear, are opening windows to allow plenty of ventilation.
The treehouse is fully insulated to ensure that indoor play can take place even on cold and rainy days.
The treehouse platform steps up slightly and a walkway then leads to the second platform. This platform is 4ft (1.2m) square and sits at 4ft 10in (1.5m) above ground level. There is rope ladder access to this second platform which provides an adventurous route on and off this play structure.
A further walkway leads to the third platform. This platform is 5ft (1.5m) square and 5ft (1.5m) above ground level. There is a climbing wall with knotted rope to the left hand side which once again provides a alternate route onto the play structure.
A hanging swing seat is affixed underneath this platform.
The staircase and all raised areas are protected with balustrade rails.
Guttering was fitted to this playhouse, but not included in the cost, this can be added if required.
