Bespoke two storey playhouse with play platforms
This glorious two-storey playhouse with raised shelters and open platforms has plenty of internal and external space for lots and lots of fun.
The large two-storey playhouse sits behind raised shelters to the fore.
The playhouse has a veranda at ground level and an internal staircase that provides access to the first floor gallery. The gallery has a door at each end to provide access to external walkways, each leading to an open play platform.
The ground level door is one of our ever popular stable doors with a letterbox in the bottom section and diamond shape cut out in the top section. The upper level doors are standard doors and both also have diamond shaped cut outs.
There are a total of six opening rectangular windows around the playhouse, one portcullis style window to the upper rear of the playhouse and an octagonal window to the front. All glaxing is with polycarbonate.
The large number of windows ensures that plenty of light can get into the playhouse and that it can be well ventilated in the summer months. In addition to the windows and doors there is a set of opening shutters at ground level on the left hand side. These can double up as an additional access point and are a great imaginative play prop; they can also be a useful spot for parents to pass ice creams and other necessities into the playhouse even if they are not formally invited inside.
There are a total of four external platforms, the two to the front are joined by a stepped bridge and each have low panel walls and a cedar shingle roof to match the playhouse, yhey both have hanging swing seats beneath them.
The Shelter on the left has a telescope and boat steering wheel fixed to it, whilst there is a periscope on the bridge and a car steerign wheel fitted to the right hand shelter, thesea re great rpops for imaginative paly.
Each shelter platform also has a walkway leading to the platforms which can also be accessed via the first floor gallery of the playhouse.
The open platform on the left has a climbing wall with knotted rope fixed to it and the platform on the right accommodates a slide and has a tyre swing beneath it.
Both of the walkways that lead from the upper playhouse gallery have a rope ladder to the ground which provides a more challenging access route to this wonderful play structure.
Each open platform also has its own staircase access so there are a number of access choices, some more challenging than others, that provide the means for lots of different circuits and keep play new and exciting for children.
All external platforms are 4ft (1.2m) square and sit 4ft (1.2m) above ground level
