Castle Play Fortress
Built to order over an existing sand pit and strong enough to resist the most boisterous of "attacks", this castle fortress provides endless opportunity for adventurous and imaginative play.
Covering an existing sandpit of 8ft square and at a height of 5ft, the platform area of this castle fortress is accessed via a staircase to the left hand side.
The castle itself sits, protected from invaders and uninvited parents, to the back of the platform, there are castellated walls with two unglazed slit windows on each side of the platform which provide look out points on all sides of the structure.
The castle has a central standard style door with a cross shape cut out, two glazed slit windows to the front and and on the right and left hand side of the the castle.
The castle is fitted internally with four push lights, a whiteboard and internal bench and foldaway table which were all deemed essential in the planning of various games, as indeed were the trap door with fixed wooden ladder and the secret panel; but we swore a sacred oath not to tell you too much about either of those items!
Externally a corded flagpole with pirate flag was fixed in the front left hand corner, while both a telescope and periscope were fitted to the castellated walls and a climbing wall with knotted rope is accessed via an open doorway on the right hand side of the platform.
This castle was painted internally at an extra cost, this can be added if required.
